Meal Preparation for Independent Living SCQF 4

Meal Preparation gives you the skills to cook simple, tasty meals on your own. You’ll learn how to use kitchen equipment safely, choose healthy and affordable ingredients, and follow good hygiene whilst cooking. It’s a great way to build confidence in the kitchen and get ready for independent living especially if you’re working with a budget.

Employability Skills

Employability Skills Programme begins with a focused workshop designed to equip learners with the essential skills needed to enter the world of work. Topics include job searching, CV writing, cover letters, job applications, and interview techniques. Upon successful completion of this phase, learners will achieve the SQA Employability Award and progress to the second phase of the programme, which includes a paid work placement to gain valuable, hands on experience.

IT Computer Skills SCQF 3/4/5

Our IT Computer skills class helps you gain confidence with using technology to find, work with, and share information. You’ll learn how to use computers and digital tools independently and responsibly whether it’s for work or everyday tasks. Through relaxed conversations and fun activities, you’ll improve your Gaelic skills at your own pace and connect with others who share your interest in the language and culture.

Driving Theory Support offers a quiet, focused space to help you prepare for your theory test with confidence. You’ll get one-to-one guidance from a tutor as you learn about road signs, hazard awareness, and the rules of the road. With access to up-to-date practice questions and a wide selection of learning materials, you’ll be supported every step of the way as you build your knowledge and get ready to pass.

Using recycled materials, you’ll create useful and unique items for our shop, building confidence, creativity, and practical skills along the way.
