Nursery provision in Ormiclate, South Uist
Cothrom Òg is our childcare provision based at our Ormiclate campus. Originally developed in line with our adult learning programme the childcare centre was opened in order to support families, and we continue to this day to support working parents through offering flexibile wrap-around care options.
Our Staff
Our staff here at Cothrom Og are registered with SSSC, professional and committed to providing the range of interactions, experiences and spaces we need to provide for babies and young children to help them learn and grow best from their earliest days in Nursery to their first days in Primary school.
What We Provide
Cothrom Og caters for children from the age of three months up to pre-school. The nursery facility is separated into two sections, our 0-3 space, and our playroom for age groups two-three and three-five.
The 0-3 space is welcoming, and contains a mix of play areas and a homely space which is safe and comfortable for very young children. There is also a sleep room, and separate nappy changing areas.
The 3-5 space is a well-resourced, fun place to be and has an adjoining sensory/physical area.
